Inflated bill of Rs. 7854/ recieved for the month of February 2014. Matter taken up with Call Center, but they refused to take any action. Complaint sent via e-mail to Apellate Authority (Mr. Yogesh Bajpai) , copying Customer Service. As there was no response, I escalated to President Assunance Desk thriugh the web site. Response recieved on 22 March stating that matter will be looked into. On further follow-ups, I received a mail from Appelate authority on 04th April (responded by Aarti Poojari) that the issue has been resolved. On further follow-up I received a mail from Customer Services stating that billing is as per usage. The issue from the start was excess usage chanrged and inflated bill generated, but the same was not considered. I have now recieved a bill for March. In spite of very restricted usage by me and my family in March due to the billing issue, they have billed me for INR 13000+ for March itself. Thsi takes the total bill to around 21500 for two months. I have been a customer to them for 3.5 years and my usage and bill never crossed Rs.1000 to Rs.1200. I called their customer services again and they were not helpful at all. On requesting for a supervisor, I was made to wait twice, but was denied a Supoervisor stating that he is busy and cannot take the call. I can provide copies of mails sent to Tata Docomo. I am not able to attach them as it is giving me an error message.
Bills should be corrected. Extra charges to the tune of Rs. 21300 for the months of Feb and March 2013, should be waived off. Any further error with the billing in April should be corrected. Assurance from at least the Apellate Authority on call or mail or in person, that the issue will not re-occur again.
