I have been a subscriber of tatasky dth for three years. I always recharge for one whole year and to that end the recharge amount is displayed on the website for my login. This year too i recharged according to tatasky website for Rs.3850, however a day after recharge tatasky called me to inform that the said package (south Jumbo pack) is no more available and I have to pay an additional Rs.660. If this was informed to me earlier I would have looked at alternate options and switched to other DTH. Tatasky refused to refund the amount and further reduced the period of recharge by two months. I find this a fraudulent way of charging customers, If the package was not available why was the recharge amount of Rs.3850 displayed on their website? I have written to tatasky complaint number SR2712120917659 which was marked as closed on their website though I had not agreed to it. Subsequently I wrote another mail to them having compliant number SR0201130920593, which has been marked as closed as well. This is clear cheating on their part.
I would want Tatasky to honour their rate of Rs.3850 mentioned on their website without compromising on the number of channels provided. In the event they cannot honour their commitment I would like a full refund of Rs.3850 and a compensation of Rs.8000 for loss of peace and waste of my time. The compensation can be paid to a charity on my behalf as I am not for money but my fight is to uphold principles of fair trade.
