I had bought a Sony Laptop E15133 series, serial no S010000899C on 2nd July 2013.The next day only I found out that the Laptop has serious OVER-HEATING ISSUE, especially on the left palmrest where the left hand rests during typing.i use the laptop mainly for using ms-word, powerpoint & my wwork involves writing for long periods & as such it is impossible to work on this overheated laptop for more than ten mins. Complaining to Sony India has not resulted in a positive response, a technician checked the laptop & said that this is the problem in the E15133 series sony làptops & that is why Sony has stopped making this very model any more.After complaining & writing many mails to Sony India, they picked up the laptop & since then the laptop is simply lying in service centre & I got a call now that there is no problem in the laptop. This is total BREACH of TRUST & REFUSAL TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE PROBLEM OF OVERHEATING. SIMPLY B/C THE LAPTOP IS WORKING DOES NOT MEAN THAT SONY INDIA CAN IGNORE OVERHEATING PROBLEM AS LAPTOPS THAT HAVE THE HEATING PROBLEMS GO BAD AFTER A YEAR.The MOTHERBOARD goes Defective mostly right after the warranty. And anyway this overheated laptop is useless to me right now as it is impossible to work on it as my left hand gets hot & fatigued after 10 mins. I want Sony India to give me a replacement with another series laptop which does not have this problem or give me my monèy back which amounts to RS 31,700 as supported by original bill.
I have been asking only for the amount I paid-Rs 31,700 till now, but if the matter keeps getting delayed, i want a suitable compensation over the original amount paid for all the stress I have suffered plus loss of working hours.
