I have some NRE FIXED DEPOSITS with my babk and thry have changed the maturity amount by 1-2 rupees citing recalculation of rate . I would like to know if this is justified

Constant emailing and non confirmation for past 3 months leading to stress

I would like to know if this is justified and if not would like them to normalise thr same . I have an email from them telling of the new maturity value which i can provide if required
