Hello Sir/Madam, I would like to straight jump to the point. So what happened my flight was scheduled for take-off at 6.30 pm from Toronto (YYZ) airport but due to really bad weather the flight was delayed by two and half hours and was scheduled to take-off at 9.00 pm in the evening which gave me a two hour time for lay over at London airport which was fine enough to change the terminal and take the next flight. But what happened is the flight took off at 10.30pm and I missed my connecting flight. The crew member told us that Air Canada will re-book flight for you after you arrive at the airport. So I arrived at 9.35am (local time of London) and we were told to go to Air Canada desk and what happened there was they gave us food voucher and told us to come back after an hour and the same thing continued till 3.00 pm. Later on they managed to book me flight for Wednesday which was after 3 days and then told me to go to the hotel they provided. So when I tried to get out at the border they told me u cannot go out since we can just give you transit visa for one day and told me to go back to Air Canada and if I dont get out of the country within 24 hours they would charge Air Canada with 2000 pounds and deport me back to Toronto. So I went back and told them so the option Air Canada people had was to send back to Toronto or give a dummy ticket and come back tomorrow to the airport look if there is any seat available and if not we will give the hotel booking for next day and this would continue until you dont get a flight or confirmed to fly on Wednesday and all this would continue without a proper visa. Listening to all this I did not want to risk myself and stay as a illegal in London and decided to go back to Toronto. The ticket price was 1,14,000 INR (CAD$ 1900).

I want my full refund of the ticket and also the money I spent for on the Hethrow airport for calling my dear ones.
