BSNL – Micro SIM Performance Review

Dear Sir, With due veneration I beg to state that I am a ported customer from service provider – “uninor” to BSNL – EXCEL (3G) with micro sim. My ported mobile number is 7050007XXX. Kindly look into the following points: 1. I applied for mobile number portability on 21-10-2014, I had paid Rs 59/- for the same. 2. My previous number was dismissed on 28-10-2014 by “uninor” and I received network on the new sim on 29-10-2014 with validity up to 05-11-2014 and Rs 10 as main balance. 3. I verified my identity by calling upon 1507 and had successfully completed the same. 4. As advised by BSNL, I tried the FRC of 36, 49, 96, 106 but none succeeded up to two calendar days. 5. Meanwhile I was advised by your customer service representative for replacing my sim. 6. I visited the BSNL office twice and was told that customer service representative was wrong and I need not replace my sim. The recharge issue was fixed by 31-10-2014 around 8 pm. 7. I, as advised by DTE, at BSNL office, recharged my number with Rs 106 FRC at a nearby retailer and then Rs 155 for 1 GB 3g data. 8. My android phone, MOTO E, required the sim cut as it was initially a normal EXCEL 3G sim and I did the same. Everything is fine (incoming, outgoing, tariff etc everything is working well) except data connection. 9. Even if I have excellent connectivity, I am unable to access data connection. I tried the sim card in a friend’s micromax android phone, and then in samsung but the problem persisted. I tried single sim, dual sim, phone reboot, apn settings, everything. I must tell you that I contacted your customer care representative several times and was not properly addressed. I must tell you that other BSNL numbers at same location(s) in the same mobile phones are working properly. The following day I visited the BSNL office again and was told by DTE that this sim doesn’t work after cutting. 10. As advised, I spent Rs 59 again, and bought a micro sim from BSNL counter on 2-10-2014 and also all my previous balances but all the problems as in point no. 9 are the same. Meanwhile I have reset my phone twice and have found null results with total mental harassment. Customer care is unresponsive thereafter. And the complaint link at BSNL portal is inactive for BIHAR and JHARKHAND. Please look into it as soon as possible.
