I am writing in regard to the MTS Data card we purchase in the name of my father Dinesh Gupta. Details – The DATA card number – 845 998 6xxx A/c Num – 11008 50411 I am not satisfied either with the device, or with the resolution of the problem. It disconnected very frequently. You promised maximum speed of 9.8 MBPS, we never got even half of that. It was most of the times below 2MBPS and very few times it got to 3. The retailer from whom we purchased this, he also mentioned that it hardly goes above 3. I have filed many complaints. First time, they called me three times in duration of five minutes. Since I was not available to pick up the phone, they marked the complaint resolved. Later they claimed they resolved and yet there were frequent disconnection. Finally on the last complaint, they said you have used the 10GB high speed data therefore we cannot look into disconnection issue till you get 10GB high speed data again, which would 15 days later. I understand low speed after consuming 10GB, but disconnect? Why? And how can you expect customer to go through severe disconnections for FIFTEEN days? On Sept 1, they told me that they can’t do anything till Sept 15. I am very upset with the service and trust me, I have asked many people, it just does not work in this area called Sagar Pur. It may work in better areas such as South Delhi but here it just does not work, there are not enough towers – all I learned while trying to diagnose the issue. There is nothing your custom service engineers or officers can do about it. I don’t want to waste another month arguing with customer service representatives. I am happy to pay for the services I have used. I wish to return the device and seek refund for that. It is just of no use here. I hope you will understand this and won’t force me to go to consumer court. I have had very bad time with Tata Photon in the past. But this time, I won’t let it go. The retailed told me that they don’t deal with return requests and that I should call MTS for that. MTS tells me to go to retailer. See this is not my job to shuttle between you two. My job is to get seamless internet and pay for those services while I focus on my life.
I want refund and wish to return the device.
