Hi Team, I recently purchased the 4G dongle no. 7709005639. While showing the demo, their salesperson Amit used the same dongle that I bought. He was getting the speed of 20-22 Mbps and promised me that I will be getting same or atleast 15 Mbps. I showed him websites and forums that Airtel has capping of 10 Mbps but he kept on denying and assuring that if I receive speed less than 15 Mbps, I will be getting full refund of my dongle. I have attached the screenshot taken for speed test on that day. After activation of my dongle, I found out that speed rarely touches 10.5 Mbps. Whenever I tried calling Amit after, he continuously kept on cutting my calls. I have registered complaint no. 53392521 within an hour after activation of dongle. Customer Service center assured me that my complaint was on high priority and will be resolved by 23rd Oct with an update in 48 hours. On Monday, I again called customer care as I didn’t get update in promised 48 hours. They gave me another number 53418202 and again ensured me that my complaint was on high priority and will be resolved on 23rd Oct. Person named Pramod visited my house on Tuesday(22nd Oct) and concluded that Amit has lied to me and Airtel has capping of 10 Mbps. He said that Airtel will surely do something to help you and update you by tomorrow. I called today on 24th as no update was provided. I found that my complaint was closed as Amit lied this time to Airtel telling that my mobile is not reachable. I had been contacted by Airtel person Pramod, got activation call, call on detail information and even today someone from Airtel called me to check if I bought the dongle. How can these many reach to me? Amit won’t confess his mistakes and is making excuse that my cell is not reachable. I strongly need an action on this complaint. Thanks, Jatin Magnani
