Airtel – Billing issue

I have cancelled my broadband connection from airtel four months ago and still i am receiving bill for the broadband. I was busy these days to attend the customer care call. They just call and ask to pay the bill. If I complaint about my problem, Next time another customer care executive calls me up and asks to pay the bill. Recently, When I informed the customer care that I already cancelled the broadband connection, The reply was that I should have sent a letter to their office and shouldn’t tell through call. But four months before, The executive that attended my call said He will be cancelling the internet connection. The company can even track my data usage if I have used the broadband connection given. PS: I have changed my broadband connection to a local cable based ISP named Net Express.

I would need a waiver for the amount that is pending from my side. I can’t pay for what I didn’t have any service. I used the land line phone alone for making calls.
