I ported out of Reliance into Airtel on the 20th of January after submitting the forms on the 11th of January. On the 20th of January my Reliance number stopped working and despite a TRAI rule of porting the number in 4 hours – it has been 6 days and Airtel has still not ported my number.
My credit cards associated with my phone numbers have been exposed to fraud. My business calls have stopped. I am unable to interact with international clients. In case of emergencies, I lack the ability to reach important services like Fire, Police and Ambulances. I do not receive e-mails on time.
I want my number to activated. And I want Airtel to pay a fine to TRAI for this gross violation of TRAI regulations. I also expect to be compensated at the rate of Rs. 1,00,000/day of delay for torture, harassment and loss of business.
