I was residing in Delhi, where I had a Airtel connection with No. 9560001719. We have received the mobile bill for Airtel up to Rs. 11000 Approx. till the month of March 2013, bill date 24.03.2013. As per my records Up to March 2013., the credit limit included in the same was Rs. 7500. The bill in the same was extended beyond my credit limit without any communication and further disconnect the connection. As I shifted to a new city, I was unable to respond to the billing of the same and I was not having personal internet for payments. I received a call from Airtel on my Chennai number (which is also Airtel) regarding the bill saying the amount I have to pay was Rs. 14000. I denied to pay the same and asked for my credit limit. Which he informed to me Rs.10000. Further after that I received no calls from them. Suddenly, in May’13 Airtel used my details in the call list and started calling. They called my family members (Parents), my friends, my wife and other people. Making my life a miserable. They informed my mother that if they would raise this query to my present company my company would ask me to resign and all sorts of terrified activities. Even they started calling to friends and asking for the relationship with them. I informed them that they should stop calling to my family members but they didn’t do the same.They also called my father for same. After that I asked I shall pay an amount of Rs. 7000 and not more than that as it is as per the credit limit. After series of discussion he telephonically confirmed that he agrees to accept the amount and complete the final settlement on the same amount. Regarding which after submitting the money. I send the mail confirming him the payment and final settlement thereafter. He confirmed on phone that there will be no calling after that. After receiving the payment confirmation, I again called Airtel office for final closure statement. At that time he denied from his statement of final settlement and asked me to submit the pending Rs. 7000. I denied the same and asked him if he calls to any of my family members from now for any communication regarding this he shall has to facing legal compliances. After that for a month we didn’t receive any call from Airtel. On 18.06.2013 my wife and my mother-in-law and few of my friends received a fake call from Airtel, asking to produce the address as a DTDC courier for me. On 19.06.2013 Airtel people again started threatening my wife on the same issue.

With reference to the above complaint, during my discussion with Airtel I have already paid the final settlement amount i.e. Rs. 7000. Now Airtel cannot ask me for any extra payments. Further, now they should not call any of my family members or friends and mentally harass them regarding this issue.
