Ameriican Airlines – announce a delay every 2hrs

was scheduled to Board the connecting flight from HELSINKI TO DELHI(AY0021), which was scheduled to take off at 20:10pm from HELSINKI. The airlines officials continued to announce a delay every 2hrs for the next 8hrs. They provided us with a 17 EURO Meal Voucher at 11:00pm. But by that time almost all of the cafes of the Airport were shut and the one that was open only had chocolates. We asked the officials for Accommodation post 8hrs of flight delay, but were denied of any such rights by them. Also when we asked for a phone call we were told by the official “THIS IS FINLAND, YOU GUYS HAVE NO SUCH RIGHTS HERE”. It was so much mental trauma and torture that we met with that day. We had started our travel at 9:00am from BARCELOAN on 15th MAy and reached DELHI at 1:00pm on 16th MAY WITHOUT ANY FOOD for 8hrs on HELSINKI AIRPORT. I have the delay certificate issued by the AIRLINES which clearly states that the reason for delay was technical snag and not any natural calamity. The reason for filing this complaint is to sue the AIRLINE for treating customers like Animals.
