I have purchased Micromax A87 about a year ago from Patan (North-Gujarat) directly from the dealer. I paid Rs 6000 for this phone. The phone had some kind of errors from the very first month, due to which I contacted the Micromax service center at Patan repeatedly, they use to keep the phone with them for a week and give it to me after repairing it. This continued during the whole year. I had to go to the service center 4-5 times. This time I discovered a new problem with outgoing voice in my phone on 12/9/2013. I visited the service center, where the service center official Mr. Dineshbhai informed me to collect my phone after 15 days. After 15 days I visited service center to collect my phone where I was informed to wait for one more week as the problem was big so they sent the phone to the company. After a week I was informed that as the Model A87 of my phone is no more manufactured by the company, they dont have the spare part called PCB and I was informed to wait. After repeated follow-ups with the company through E-mail and phone calls I was informed by the service center official that I shall get a new handset in 72 hours if I give him the box of the handset I purchased. I gave him the box. After 3 days that is today on 18/10/2013 Mr. Dineshbhai informed me the distributorship of Micromax Android phone is no more with the person from whom I purchased the phone and I will have to wait 15 days more. So I called the Micromax customer service department 18605008286. I spoke with Mr. Varun who denied me to provide his surname, as he was rude over the call. He informed me that I shall get my phone back repaired after 15 days from 18/10/2013. He clearly stated I shall not get a new handset. So now I am absolutely confused and fed up of this harassment. Please do the needful.
I cannot describe the loss in words. I am unable to keep in touch with the company’s where I have applied for job. They are unable to contact me. I belong to a middle class family and I cannot purchase a phone again and again. I visited 8 times service center at patan from Baroda as I am not living now at patan. I visited cyber cafe many times to send them email. Overall I am mentally, physically, economically disturbed with the so called customer service from Micromax. Also I am not the only one suffering this kind of harassment, the list is very long. Please do something to stop such companies making fool people. Insearch of Justice, today I am writing this please please please do the needful.
