Respected Sir/Madam, Myself, Dr. Rohan Pravinbhai Shah, wants to file a complaint against “Arihant Infotech”, located at, Unit No 122, Veena Industrial Estate, Opp: Everest Masala, L.B.S Marg, Vikroli (W), Mumbai- 400083. “Arihant Infotech”, are dealers of computer hardwares. I had purchased an assembled PC from them on 2nd March 2010. After few months of purchase, the PC started showing problems (Restart several times on its own) so I approached them they said it can be problem with your power supply buy UPS so I buy new UPS but my problem didn’t solved so I approached them again and I was told to visit the Kingston Service Centre. I was shocked to know from the service centre that the RAM was duplicate and hence cannot be covered under warranty. So I approached “Arihant Infotech” and after several requests they finally agreed to exchange it after a fight of 3 months. In 2014 My PC had some harddisc issues. So I again approached “Arihant Infotech” as my harddisc is protected by 5 year warranty period as mentioned on the Invoice. They told me to approach Seagate Service Center and get my problem fixed. I had a telephonic conversation with Customer Care Executive at Seagate from where I came to know that my hard drive had only 3 years warranty. So I went to “Arihant Infotech” and stated my problem. I was not entertained properly and my complaint was taken lightly. I visited them several times and every time I was given different reasons. • It was our typing mistake. We wrote by mistake 5 years warranty, actually the warranty is of 3 years only. • The company (Seagate) policies have changed now so your product is not under warranty. • Usually when we (Arihant) buy products we don’t get any written warranty we write it like that only. Then they said keep you hard disk here we try to repair it and every day they say sum different reasons and some different promises they will repair and send or I will send other one, I will send it today, I will send it tomorrow. Giving such reasons Arihant Infosys wasted 4 months and now they saying will provide you some used (second hand and not new) other brand hard disk which is against warranty rule which was promised. I hope after reading the comments you will be well convinced that this is merely cheating a customer. I have lost my valued and productive time behind all these hollow arguments of “Arihant Infotech” and I see no way to get my problem resolved. I desire to file a complaint against “Arihant Infotech” for the benefit of society so that no other consumers get cheated like me. I also request you to please look into the matter and offer me relevant solution for my problem.
I have lost 6 months of productive time before and 4 months now. 1)lost all my patients data and records 2)Computer is off since months so cant work at all 3)Lost my all valuable time running behind for the issues
