Bajaj Finance – mistake in application ECS did not activate

0% Loan availed in 2011 for hitach fridge at the insistence of the personnel placed at Shri Jain Traders Thane. The Bajaj personnel committed some mistake in my Loan application due to which my ECS did not activate. Failing this the recovery team insisted on me making payment by cash. I got fedup and decided to foreclose my loan in August 2012. Accordingly I paid the balance amount after confirming with the customer care of Bajaj. The amount was paid the same day using online payment facility. I kept getting reminders for delayed payment after paying the entire balance with some penalty which was informed to me. Upon enquiring with customer care, I was told to ignore the calls as it was a mistake with their software system and it would stop eventually. whenever I tried logging in the system, I would get a message that my id does not exist. The calls never stopped and I had to keep explaining to the recovery team every month. The recovery team would threaten me to file report with CIBIL. On the last 2 occasions I was asked to visit their office which I denied and told them to rectify their fault without causing me trouble.

Waiver of any charges levied & unconditional apology. Rs.100000/- for mental harassment caused for past 2 years.
