Dear Sir/Madam,

I’m a prepaid mobile customer of BSNL and my mobile no is 9432117781. I am under plan Kolkata 99. I’ve recharged my mobile with a SMS Power voucher of Rs.24 (Rs. 21 plus S.T) on 11th April, 2009. But instead of valid recharge, BSNL has been deducting an amount of RS. 0.80 per SMS from my phone balance (Not from SMS balance) and it was getting reduced by that amount every time I was sending a SMS.

On asking the customer care person, I get to know that, on that day my Account had been successfully recharged with the voucher but due to some system problem my SMS balance was showing as zero. They ascertained me that it will get resolved soon and the deducted amount from my phone balance will be returned to me. Not getting any response from them I again asked them and they told me the same.

Third time when I went to ask them on 7th May,2009 they told me that I’ve already utilized my SMS balance and that’s why it’s showing as zero.

Thus if I assume I’ve sent atleast 100 SMS after the recharge with SMS Power voucher, they’ve collected from me Rs. (100 X 0.80) plus Rs. 24 equals Rs. 104 in total (appx). But they’re not agreeing their fault and telling me that I’m telling them wrong instead.

Please help me in this matter otherwise I’ve to incur this as a total loss.

With the above issue, the other issues I always face is disconnection of line now and then and it’s hard to reach and talk to BSNL customer care person. After receiving the call they go on telling the promotional messages for several minutes wasting our valuable time.If I can’t see the issues getting resolved in another month maximum I’ve to think to switch to some another service provider.
