On 5th Dec. 2012 we booked 2 Number 35 Seater Buses for our staff excursion scheduled on 8th Dec. 2012 with Chennai Travels. During the booking time the owner of the Travel Company Mr. Dilli Babu was present and he agreed to send the buses at right time on 8th Dec. 2012. We paid a sum of Rs.2000/- as advance and it was acknowledged by them too. On 7th Dec. 2012 evening we reminded the owner and he assured that the buses will be available at our office on 8th Dec. 2012. to our shock and surprise as assured the buses were not sent. When we communicated over phone Mr. Dillibabu assured that it would arrive before 7 AM but he failed in it. After 7 AM on that day he switched off his mobile and there was no response. To manage the situation we were forced to hire call taxis and vans and some how we managed the situation. We incurred a total expenses of Rs.18,050/- which was Rs.7650/- higher than the planned one. We sent a notice dated 19th December 2012 to the company asking to compensate the losses. We are yet to receive reply. The company failed to return the advance amount also. The behavior of the owner of the company reveals that it is a cheating company.
