I bought a Cinthol LIME 3 Soap Pack from the local market. I was not able to find its MRP on the outer box containing the 3 soaps. This leads to unfair trade practises and exploitation of the consumer by the company. Non printing of MRP on the product and marketing it, is a serious case of violation of provisions of Consumer Protection Act 1986.

Non printing of MRP on the product is a violation of CPA 1986 whereby consumer has the right to know the MRP of the product being sold. Onus of providing the information lies on the company and it bears the responsibility for the same. No physical or economic damage has been caused to me but its the mental agony and stress the Godrej has given me on not replying back on my complaint or grievance. I lodged this complaint and reminded Godrej company for the same several times since 29 march 2014 but all in vain.

I want that the Company should be penalised for- a) Violation of CPA 1986 b) Negligence of Consumer complaint c) Unfair trade practises d) Not owning the responsibility for the same
