CLAIM AGAINST WRONGFUL BILLING

Dear Sir,

I had lodged a complaint against SBI card 7th November 2005 for wrongfully debiting my account for Rs. 2400/- withdrawn only once from their ATM at Marol, Mumbai. I have lodged several complaints with the Company. But, they have not even bothered to reply to my complaints, nor they have reversed the debited charges. As per the RBI guidelines, the Credit Card company has to refund or reverse the wrongful transaction within 12 days of receipt of the complaint. Which they have not done till date. If the Company fails to do so they are liable for a penalty of Rs. 100/- per day. Now, It has been more than 4 years now since I have lodged my complaint. Therefore, I would like to claim for the compensation for mental torture, harassment and anguish I have gone through in last four years. Now I demand a lumpsum compensation of Rs. 3,50,000/- (Rupees Three Lacs Fifty Thousand Only) from SBI CARD & PAYMENT SERVICES LTD.
