Dear Sir,
I purchase AQUGUARD TOTAL REVIVA from Eureka Forbes on 24th February this year under the Tax Invoice No. 5619105718.
After the installation of 5 months, I found that the taste of water is change & the machine is not working properly. I immediate complain on 24th July 2010 to the Liluah Service Center, after three reminders a engineer comes on 27th July 2010 & told us that the reverse osmosis membrane is damage, if I wish to replace that, I have to pay Rs 2345/=. To verify the engineer words I mailed to Eureka Forbes on 30th July 2010, that the machine is on warranty period, if any defect found should I have to pay for that? I did not get any reply from Eureka Forbes. On 6th of this month two engineers came to my home & shocked us that all the six cartridges are damage due to the TDS level content is high, this not cover any warranty, to replace the six cartridges I have to pay Rs. 4200/= & also they say that replacement of all six cartridges are not cover any warranty.
The matter of warranty was not mention at the time of purchase. The sales person of Eureka Forbes checks the TDS content level three times before the installation of machine. He assure me that I will not face any type of service problem & the AMC charges will be Rs. 2600/= per year.
This is not possible for me to spend Rs. 4200/= on every two three months, if I know about all these types of problem regarding this machine (AQUGUARD TOTAL REVIVA) & this fraud company (EUREKA FORBES) I never purchase this product.
What should I do now?
