I have bought a holiday package membership from country vacations India in May 2014 for 1.50 lacs, its a 30 year holiday package wherein every year i get a weeks holiday package at any destination in world. At the time of sale we were told by their executive (name mention above)that annual maintenance charges (AMC) will be applicable on club membership and same will be optional if i want to avail their club services. And in case if don’t want club services, then i can continue without paying AMC. But the day i got the mail confirmation that my membership has been awarded and also all the terms and condition were mentioned there. This mail states that Holiday package will also have AMC. On this, on very day I initiated cancellation request but till date it has been not cancelled and I have been forced to accept the terms mentioned therein. I felt been cheated in whole transaction. And now without using this want to cancel and request for refund of paid 1.5 lacs from them, which is being denied by company.
