Cox & Kings Limited – careless & casual approach

We lost the opportunity of visiting Glacier 3000 on 20th May just because of careless & casual approach of Mr Daruwala a tour leader & coordinator of M/S Cox & Kings. We spoke to him while taking breakfast & even early morning too that we would also join tomorrow optional trip to Jangfrau. He did not count the heads in the bus to ensue everybody has joined. Moreover, he did not bother to call at hotel to take care as the day was national holiday in Switzerland & market was closed. I & my wife were left in isolation because of his casual approach. This has left impression of disappointment & non serious approach of Cox & Kings. Even a compensation of tour cost of this visit may not bring back the pleasure of seeing Glacier -3000. The chorological events of the 20th May 2013 on the role of the tour coordinator role of his casual & negligence approach are as below:- 1 Incidentally the same morning at 8: 30 AM, we met him while going for breakfast he mentioned breakfast items are nearly finished. We said ok we are coming after having tea & or something. Even then he forgot to ensure that we are in the bus or not on the seat. 2. Even he did not share his mobile number with the hotel receptionist. Most of the time his phone which is critical for communication was in switched off due to not having charger or other reasons. He was looking & asking for the same. Many occasions he used to borrow mobile to make calls as his phone was not working or due to some other issue. 3. On his return he was shocked & expressed his apology as he said forgot to count head as he was tense. Had he left knowingly his reaction could not be as a surprised man. 4. Further to this, he said he purchased tickets for everyone. How come if someone knows he had left two passengers would buy tickets for them too. On asking give us the anti-snow glaring goggles which are the complimentary with the tickets. He was not having the same. 5. The coach left at 9.05 AM if there is any evidence other than this, I would prefer to get the access to same. Even the receptionist at Mercury Hotel where breakfast served was equally surprised & wanted to call Mr Tour leader but failed to do so in absence of his number. 6. The tiny amount which is just meant for his future learning only. So that he would not so casual in discharging his responsibility assigned to him. We did not deduct full amount of trip from him as a penalty for his negligence to the extent leaving us. This lost opportunity cannot be compensated by this meager amount only. 7. The compensation is much higher costing to travel same destination etc. However the balance amount € 200 which is due to us because of their tour leader careless approach be paid to us by Cox & Kings tour operator.

Please do the needful to address the issue through compassions of tour cost of that part plus inconveniences due to no care approach & humiliation cost of Euro 1900
