His is to bring to your notice that i had applied for a water connection on june 17th 2014 at the malviya nagar water services(mnws). the inspection was conducted in time and a bill of rs. 21180 with new k.no 5324938883 was issued for which i got an sms on 10.07.2014. i contacted the incharge at mnws on 14.07.2014 and requested for checking on why the bill of such a high amount has been charged. it was told that water development charges of rs. 18480 have been cherged for the building. i produced the copy of the water development charges receipt already paid for the building in the year 2005 by the owner of the premises from whom i had purchased the floor in the year 2011. also a request was made to waive the water dev charges.i have been visiting the mnws office every week for an update and every-time i get the same reply that the request has been forwarded to djb for consideration and soon you will get reply. i visited their office on 15.09.2014 and got the reply that an email has been sent to me with the status of my application for submitting the balance receipt of the water dev charges paid previously. but i have not received any mail from the department for the same. moreover to the contrary i would also like to add that there have been 2 more water connection applications been submitted by the 2nd floor and ground floor owners of the same building, with the same water dev charge receipt( also submitted by me), but now charges have been levied on them. is this the way the djb is working whereas it has been handed over to private companies for early resolution of the problems. i am a working women with kids and family staying with me. i please request you to help in this regard and resolve get my problem resolved at the earliest. i am hereby also uploading the receipt for your ready reference which nowhere mentions that the charges paid were an installment and not the complete charges.

please consider the water development charges already paid for the building. these have been taken into account in the bills issued to other residents in the building but have been charged by me. i would like to get these water development charges waived,
