I bought Dell Vostro 1015 laptop. They have shipped Driver CD but none of the drivers for Windows XP. But only for Windows Vista.

I tried calling their Toll Free Number 1800-425-4026 for technical support @ 14:12 IST on Sept-2nd but even after 60 minutes of waiting nobody answered the call.. All you will hear is a recorded message which says Thank You for Calling Dell, All of our representatives are busy, please hold the line and we will be with you shortly.. but the line disconnects after 60 minutes.

Also you can’t install Windows XP Original OS unless you have the one shipped after the release of Service Pack 3.

I hate DELL because they are Lobbying with Microsoft and Intel as they don’t offer AMD Processor Laptops as well as no support for XP because Microsoft wants to push Vista, one of the disasters in OS evolutions.

I hope the Ministry of Consumers Affairs considers this as a Written Complaint and initiates svere action against Dell under th MRTPC act.
