Easygotrip.com – Discounted ticket price is Wrong

I booked a return flight tickets from Delhi – Chennai journey for 22 October – 30 October from Easygotrip.com on 16th August 2014 for Rs. 10,614. (Booking Reference No: ET 42202) After 15-20 mins from booking the tickets and paying the full amount from my credit card, i received an email from Easygotrip.com mentioning that my booking got rejected due to fare change and i need to contact the call center. Despite of several calls i was not able to reach customer care executive and calls were getting disconnected with message ‘We have noted your number and will contact you shortly.’ and i never received call back. When i e-mailed them about the concern, i received the response that my tickets were rejected due to fare increase and amount will be refunded in 9 working days. This is totally unacceptable. First, my booking got rejected and now my money is blocked for 9 working days.

1) My booking must be confirmed when i made full payment at the time of booking. If fare got increased after i booked the tickets, then it is certainly not my fault. If fare got increased before i booked the tickets and made the payment then i should have been informed about the fare increase before accepting the booking amount. 2) If there is any technical problem in the website that does not show correct flight ticket prices at the time of booking, then this must be compensated with the consumers immediately and appropriately. This must not take 9 working days!! If there is any technical problem on the website, then I must be compensated for any fare hike in flight tickets over and above Rs. 10,614 in these 9 working days until i get my full refund.
