I placed an order for bluetooth keyboard case on 2 Sept 2014 with ebay and an item was delivered to me on 10 September 2014 (paisapayID 37274780316 and item id GEB 400736612657). I found that the item was not only significantly different from the image shown (this image has now been deleted from the site) and also of very poor quality. I therefore requested for my money back under ebay guarantee claim (no. 644603). I received an email from ebay on 16 September 2014 informing me that my claim has been rejected, with no proper reasons being given for rejection. I subsequently called ebay and I was told that since they could not contact me on phone on a particular day (I was in an examination at that time), my claim was cancelled. I did try to call back at that no. later, but it did not connect (I have call records to prove that). Further when I contacted them via email, I was asked to contact the seller i2cworld, to resolve the matter. When I contacted the seller, the seller told me that they were only a courier company and all disputes regarding the item have to be settled with ebay. When I contacted ebay again, they are saying that my claim can not be entertained and only the seller can resolve it. Since neither ebay nor the seller is willing to take responsibility for wrong item sent, I am complaining to you, here. I have attached the email received from ebay.

I not only want my money back more importantly I also want ebay.in reprimanded for the shabby way in which they treat their loyal customers.
