I was on travel from Canada to India on 4th Aug and had a halt in Dubai. From Dubai, I had Air India for Mumbai and connecting domestic flight to Raipur further. At Dubai airport, Air India announced delay of 4 hours with no reasons provided. It was further delayed by 1h 50 mins for which no message was conveyed to the passengers. In the meantime, there was no refreshment provided to any of the passengers and we were on the airport with 5.50 hours of delay with no facilitation from Air India. No body was provided with any reasons of such delay. They finally started boarding after delay of 5.50 hours and kept the flight waiting on the gate for another 1.50 hours with no reasons of delay and clear communication as to when the flight will take off.

Due to this overall delay of 8 hours in total by Air India at Dubai airport, I had to reschedule my domestic flight and pay unnecessary expenses. Also, I was in continuous severe back pain for the last 7.40 hours at Dubai airport and had the worst experience with Air India. I also had to bear the cost of my food and other expenses at the airport as the Air India staff was totally unresponsive and behaved ridiculously ignoring complaints of 100s of passengers at the airport. Till now, there is no reasoning provided for this delay.

I want Air India to provide compensation of Rs 1 lac for a) the misbehave of their staff for being unresponsive and rude behaviour of totally ignoring the passengers and no facilitation at all. b) Not communicating clearly to the passengers for the actual amount of delay and kept people wondering when it will really take off so further connecting domestic flight could be rescheduled. c) For providing no refreshments at all for 7.40 hours of total waiting time at Dubai airport. d) For the inconvenience they have caused to me because of which I have been in severe back pain. e) For the rescheduling cost of my domestic flight.
