I had Bought a KingSize Diamond Bed from the EVOK Furniture Store Bangalore (Bellandur) on 8th Feb 2014 And I was promised the delivery of the bed before 22/02/2014. I had made the complete payment upfront with the booking vide my invoice number 1014SO/13-14/000875. There was a delivery attempt made on 21/02/2014 where in the whole packing of the furniture was shabby and it made me suspicious of the condition of the bed inside So I asked the delivery folks to open the pieces in front of me before I signed the Delivery Acceptance. To my shock the Bed was in bad condition with bruised polish and broken wood finish on the first box we opened. So I did not take the deliver and called up the store and Warehouse who said they would send me a fresh piece soon. They gave me a new Complaint number (HDM_HSIL_314945) on 22/02/2014. They attempted the delivery again next day and again this time around the pieces were damaged and I took the pictures (attached as deliver1X.jpg) of the same and sent them to EVOK customer care through email evokcare@hindware.co.in on 27/02/2014. I got a reply form the EVOK customer care (Ms Sanchai) on 28th Feb 2014 which gave a number of Mr Rajesh Babu stating that he would get in touch in 24hrs. Mr Babu never got in touch so i called him after a week and he pointed me to his colleague who said the delivery of a fresh piece would be made in a weeks time as they ordered a new bed. Again the delivery was attempted on 15 March 2014 Again the Bed was in very bad shape and I took the pictures again (attached as DEliver2X.jpg) By now the delivery was already delayed by 1month from the promised dates and there were no signs of EVOK seriously attempting to take my order I called up the Store again and they told me to talk to Customer Care and Customer Care gave me another Complaint Number (HDM_HSIL_291408) on 04/05/2014 promising action in 24 hours but nothing has happened till now . If I try to call Mr Rajesh Babu he doesn’t answer my call or calls back. Customer Care cannot track the old Complaint numbers and is willing to take new complaint This is serious case of cheating and fraud being done by a company with Brands like Hindware. Please help me get my money back from the cheats as I am absolutely not interested in doing any business with this company Thanks Manik Karol
FULL Refund of the amount paid along with due interest of 18%p.a. till date of refund INR 20000/- for compensation towards the sufferings induced by the company and litigation costs
