I am having a personnel loan with Fullerton India,Loan A/C no-054025000019320.Amount-159000,Date of Disbursal-30th April’11. I had completed the 39th emi in Aug’14. Now pending is 9 EMI’s. But for the purpose of a home loan I wanted to close this PL which can give me good CIBIL rating. I went to the thrissur branch on last week of July’14 and told them I want to close the loan. They gave me a toll free number and asked me to call in that number so that they will give me the amount pending details and a request number. On 6th I called in the number and they told me to take a DD of Rs 48239 and to present it at the branch. They also gave me a request number and told me it will be valid for 7 days. On 7th I took the DD and went to the Branch. But they rejected the DD and told me that They will close the loan only on 13th Aug’14 because that is their closing date. They also convinced me that on 13th you send anybody with the same DD and same request number, and they will close the loan. Now, today(13th),as I was out of station, I send my aged father with the DD to the branch. Now they are claiming that they cannot close the loan without a new request number. I called the manager and he fired me saying it is our need, not theirs to close the loan.So I have to do anything they ask. He was so rough in the phone that I was literally shocked.

I want my loan to be closed immediately without any delay and no request numbers anymore. I also need the NOC immediately. Apart from that They(FULLERTON) should apologize to me for the insult caused to me and my father.
