I had placed order no. 58130 on 6 April 2015 with www.giftcardsindia.in for 2 Lenskart vouchers worth Rs.2000/- each. There was a initial delay and after confirmed undertaking that the vouchers will be delivered on 17th, i accepted the same. However, they were not delivered on 17th also and there was no communication from them in this regard. I called them on 20th about the status and was then told to go for a different brand voucher, which was not acceptable to me and i cancelled the order. As on 30th April i am yet to get my refund back. Each time i inquire they tell me that they have refunded from their side and due to technical error it has not been processed and it takes 8-10 days for refund!!!! Also the website mentioned the status as available when the order was placed, when in reality there were no vouchers (would have gone for some other gift then itself)
A full refund with penalty as deemed fit by you. I am sure the customers of giftcardsindia have certain sentimental/emotional value to what they purchase from them and a timely/efficient communication from them is expected to avoid such embarrassing situations..
