Goodwill domestic movers – Damaging items no refund

Dear Officer, I engaged Goodwill domestic movers and packers to shift my household items from Bangalore to Pune. They promised me that they will not damage or loose any item while packing and during freight. Also they promised that they will do karat packing for TV and other glass items. However, when they delivered the goods in Pune I found following: 1. Big scratches on my LCD TV 2. Plastic kitchen boxes damaged. 3. Glasses broken. 4. TV table wheels broken. 5. Floor mops and bathroom mops/wipes lost. 6. Food items damaged. 7. Furniture (Dinning table, Cupboards) damaged. I reported the same on the same day to the delivery person and also to Bajrang sharma, Kuldeep sharma and other people of Goodwill. After too much discussions for a month or so they agreed to compensate for Rs. 4000 against these damages. The amount is very less but still I agreed and provided my account number. Now they are not answering my calls and not even responding my emails. After waiting for long I have decided to file the complaint as I feel that this is the last resort for the consumer and feel that I’ll get justice here. Details: Transferred from Bangalore to Pune. Please ask the company to fix the damages or compensate for equivalent amount of the damage. The major damage is TV and Furniture.
