Harrasment for the claim of Travel Insurance

We got travel/medical insurance from Bajaj Allianz before visiting Vancouver in March, 2009. During our stay in Vancouver my wife got sick and she was admitted in Vancouver General Hospital for one night. Then we contacted Bajaj Allianz people for the claim and sent them all the bills and related documents. Now the company has rejected our claim stating the reason that we disclose the information about the past history of Diabetes and Hypertension of my wife. My wife is 62 years old and at the time of insurance the company’s agent told us that no proof is required because the age is below 70 years and such formalities are required if the insurer is 70 or above. We provide all the information to their agent he asked from us. It is the company’s responsibility to clear all the terms and conditions to the customer before making a deal rather than hidding everything and making money. Travel insurance is otherwise not a compulsion if one travels abroad. Now that agent is not attending us and we are being harrased by the company by not clearing our claim.
