Our FD of Rs. 5 Lacs, 3 year term matured on 4th August 2014 (FDB007991), but the maturity cheque bounced. Helios and Matheson asked us to give our bank details for ECS transfer of funds but till date we have not received our Principal amount of the FD back. We made several calls to them but the company employees either do not pick up the phone or do not give any satisfactory reply on when the Principal amount be paid back to us. On one hand the company’s published annual reports show sizable retained earnings and they are still accepting new deposits and on the other hand they are not paying their old FDs back. Authorities should bring out Helios and Matheson’s fraud in news and investors should be warned against making any deposits with them.
