have bought a laptop from HP last year in Chicago, the product was bought in December 2012. The product within the year of warranty showed problems in the speaker which we had to get the part(speaker) replaced. the HP provided us with the service as it was under warranty. Yet again only after a few days times, i encountered the problem with the keyboard and the track pad of the laptop for which i again complained and the service centers after a lot of request agreed to change the part(keyboard) stating that there is hardware issues with the keyboard. It was on 4th Sep’2013 i had filed complaint and its been over a month i have not received the part even after repeated call with senior authorities. My concern is to now seek for the product replacement(Laptop replacement) not just the part(keyboard replacement). I have been patient enough to wait for the alternate parts and to give them enough time to provide the servicing(more than a month). I am scared that the laptop now even after if they provide me with any other alternate part after making me wait for over a month, there is no assurance that there will be no failure in the product again. Till the time it is under warranty i.e till December 13, i have encountered problems with various parts of the system (the recent problem is still not resolved even after a month’s time). My laptop is remained unused because of all mentioned problems. I need reclaim for the purchase i made, I NEED PRODUCT REPLACEMENT. The product is still under warranty and has failed subsequent times because of its low standard.
I don’t intend to bear any costs after warranty if the products yet fails on the ground of some hardware or software parts. I really need justice to this. And since under warranty there have been several part failure of the product (speakers problem was resolved) Keyboard and touch pad problem, i have reported over a month ago (its still not resolved on the grounds saying that the part is unavailable with them. I am sacred now, the product has failed on various grounds only after few months of purchase. They have not been able to resolve the problem despite several calls. I don’t trust after the year end if the product will not encounter problems. I don’t intend to bear those costs on my head. I want the HP to give me PRODUCT REPLACEWMENT. The product has failed on their standards.
