Hitachi – Received defective product

(1) Main Unit/Remote combination is not working as expected. There is a huge delay Hitachi in remote response, some times remote is not yet all responsive, hard to turn on and off in those situations. Till now they replaced 3 remotes, first/initial brand remote was not yet all working, second one has a loose connection contact, 3rd one works partially. (2) Service representatives orally agreed that it’s a defect in the current model but they are not willing to give me a written statement on this, and keep trying to bluff the customer every time, and simply closing the service tickets (3) Till this point I’m continuing my Web Satyagraha/Email Satyagraha/Complaint Satyagraha until my problem is resolved. I had provided two options (a) Call back the product and return my money back or (b) Replace the unit in case if they thought this will solve my problem. (4) Every service request they are taking 48 hours, and closing the ticket with no resolution.

Firstly, I prefer to have my money back, with an apology from Hitachi. If not at least, I need my money back ASAP so that I can purchase new brand (other than Hitachi).
