I have purchased a Compact Study Table from HomeTown on 7th Sept 2014. The article has not been delivered till now and every week the delivery date is getting delayed by another week. And once you call the customer care they will take the request and then there is again no communication. Even they don’t bother to call and tell that the delivery is getting delayed for such and such specific reason. Now the latest delivery date has been given as 11th Oct, which i am sure will be again delayed. Worrying factor is, there is no response from the Hometown and seems they are really no bothered after receiving the full payment. My order no: 2004100756. I have tried calling Customer care every week and they are saying they will inform the Store Manager and the Manager will give a call, but again nothing in progress. No call from Manager or so. Today i have logged a complaint with Future group and they said that they will look into the issue and concerned dept will give a call back. I have no trust. I have the sms text as proof of the article getting delayed.
1st – They need to be sensitive. 2nd- Should not take orders, if they don’t have stuck. 3rd – They should find out better ways of communicating to customers if they are not able to meet the delivery date. 4th – Free home delivery for my article. 5th – They should not trouble other customers, as i can see now there are lots of complaints about the store.
