My name is Ankit Virmani, I purchased a Maruti Swift LDI from TCS showroom Faridabad on dated 6th Oct, 2013, and I am very aggrieved with the sales strategy of TCS Sales Team, which they applied on me, this is how they cheated me:-
1. I booked a Swift LDI of Silky Silver colour at the time of giving token money they assured me that you will get the same, but when all formalities related to sanction of loan and other paper work get completed, just before 3 days of getting delivery of my car I got a call from their side , they told me that “Sir silky Silver Colour in Swift is not available only white colour is available”. At that moment of time I am not in position to cancel my decision since they also told me that they will charge Rs. 10000/- for cancellation of Booking and also the discount will not be available which you are getting now. This is how I got my swift Car.
2. At the time of booking, when I make enquiry about Stereo system, they told me that Integrated Stereo Set is costing around 12000/- but when I actually went for buying the same they told me that only Stereo cost is 12000/- you have to pay Rs.5000/- additional for speakers sets, then I want to know what do you mean by Stereo Set . This is how they use the language to manipulate the customers. That time they simply replied that for speakers we always charged separately, but no one explain me the meaning of Stereo set what it is comprising of, Only Stereo.
3. At the time of describing the feature of the car like power staring etc they told me that Central locking with key is also available in this model so you don’t need to spend additional money on remote central locking. When I get the delivery and reached home I came to know central locking is not in the car, I immediately call the same sales executive he assured me that, the function is in the car some how you will not able to get it. Then I take my car again to the showroom and this is how they replied:-
Sorry Sir, that central locking feature is not available in this model you have to spent 7000/- additional for that feature, when I asked him then why you told me so many times that this feature is available and I don’t need to spent additional money he simply said “ I confirmed from my senior he told me thats why I confirmed you the same. I feel very disappointed at that time all my happiness of buying the car they spoiled. Then I told him I want to meet you manager, after one hour they allowed me to meet him. I reached at showroom at 6: 20 pm and Manger meet me at 7:30 pm. When I explain all the situation to their manager that this how they cheated me, after all this conversation Manager replied in very simple way that “ Sir this is our executive mistake and you are buying a car of Rs. 6 Lacs you can also spent additional seven thousand, why you are making an issue for this thing.
When I told him I will file a complaint against them he said what will happen , we will fired the Sales executive and hired him again, also you are spoiling our relation with us since in future you have to come to us for Services of Car or related to other issue. In indirect way they are threatening us and finally he concluded with that “ we can’t do anything for you, if you want to file a complain you can.”
4. On 8th October 2013, in the afternoon I got the call form the customer care cell of TCS regarding feedback, I told her every thing, she assured me Sir we will send our executive to your home and all your complaint get resolved, but till date no executive had come neither we get any response form their side.
5. Further If I talk about delivery time then sales executive takes three hours for delivering. He already confirmed me two days ago and said “that your car is ready. You can take delivery at anytime”. But When I reached showroom he again said your car is ready but he manipulate me and he takes three hours to complete his delivery process.
6. Sir/Madam, we got cheated and very disappointed at TCS Show room, so we are coming to you with the hope that we get justice. Kindly look into the matter, we are very obliged to you.
