had raised couple of complaints against ICICI banks services. – 200910002002958 and 200910006010079. Regarding this, I received a call from the Banking Ombudsman of RBI,Bangalore yesterday ( 07-Apr-10 ) His words were in the directions of discouraging me from raising any complaints against banks. He supported all the deficiencies in the banks services and informed me that the customer has to abide by that. He was extremely interested to close reject the complaints rather than listening to the customers greivances and providing the relevant compensation. Also, he discouraged me from raising any complaint against Banking Ombudsman of RBI. He was collecting details from me regarding my complaints. While I was explaining in detail, suddenly he refused to take further details and informed me that his call was just intended to gauge what is on my mind. I urge that the ombudsmans decisions and activities shall be on an objective basis and not by reading peoples minds.Also he was collecting my personal details and my background which were in no way related to the complaint. I presume that he is supposed to have rejected my complaints, by giving valid justification, if in case the complaints were not valid.
