I have tried to change my Idea post paid plan from i599 to i999 over company website and couldn’t due to some technical glitch. So i contacted the customer care executives over toll free number over a period of a week and no one could do the simple thing even from their centers and kept me on hold for more than half an hour every time I called. They offered to call back after sometime and I never received any such call. Even now it shows that I have just 20 packs active in my account against the 50 packs for which I am paying. The website is completely unfriendly and so are the customer care executives. I was charged Rs.1914/- just for data usage and that too for a period of just two days ie 26 and 29th November, the period during which company was not able to resolve my grievance which was a simple thing as changing my post paid plan. Now I am asked to pay hugely for their failure in providing quality service and in resolving simple issues. The company and the executives shows utter lack of respect of the consumer’s rights when we seek services for the money we are paying. The customer has always chosen English as the language for interacting with the executives but always somehow led to interact with customer care officials speaking in Hindi language.
I want the extra data usage to be not charged with my account since it was mainly due to their incompetence and lack of concern for consumer rights. I want them to update my account with the company website with the exact updated details and process all the requests I have made till now.
