This is regarding indigo flight dated 6E551 on11 Jun13 from Jammu (IXJ) to Delhi (DEL) scheduled at 2 : 30 PM arrival at 3 : 40 PM and 6E125on 11Jun13 from Delhi (DEL) to Bangalore (BLR) scheduled departure at 5 : 45 PM and arrival at 8 : 25 PM.The passengers travelling were my wife mrs shivali salaria and infant.it was a connecting flight.the booking was done from www.yatra.com. 2. the flight 6E551 got delayed by four hours due to poor weather from jammu and finally took off at 0630 pm from jammu and reached delhi at around 0745 hrs.Due to this delay the connecting flight from delhi to bangalore(6E125) couldn’t be boarded by the passengers. 3.I personally spoke to the customer care executives of indigo airlines who confirmed me that since it had been a connecting flight the passengers will be adjusted in the next scheduled flight for bangalore from delhi .i was also assured that since this delay is on the part of airline,therefore,i need not pay any fresh amount for the next flight in which my family,Mrs shivali salaria & infant were to be adjusted. 4. on reaching delhi terminal 1D,my wife mrs shivali salaria rushed to the indigo counter for check in for the next flight.i had informed her that she need not pay any amount to the airlines and will be adjusted in the next indigo flight scheduled for Bangalore to my surprise and shock,the airlines refused to do so and charged her full amount of 11000/- for indigo flight 6E131 dated 11jun13 from delhi to Bangalore.
5. my wife was travelling with an infant and the amount of agony she has undergone at jammu terminal due to delay in flights in inexplicable. in-spite of fact that she was travelling in a connecting flight,still the airline charged her full amount on a flight which indigo airlines was responsible to provide her. 6. i am also shocked to see no communication between ticketing staff and customer care executives at indigo airlines who only provide false assurance to the passengers and have failed to deliver.i therefore seek your intervention and demand full reimbursement of my ticket amount as follows: (a) jammu to delhi(6E551) & delhi to bangalore(6E125) dated 11jun13 total amount 19656/- (b) bangalore to delhi (6E131) dated 11jun13 total amount 11000/- net 30656/- 7. I have received mails from mr ankit saxena,customer relations for verification of travelling passenger (27 jun 13)and to whom I have promptly send the copy of my marriage certificate to confirm the authenticity of the passengers (1 jul 13).inspite of that no refund is received 8. I received another mail from ms pratibha Bhatia,
Demand action for neglect of passenger and delay of refund i seek compensation of 50000/- total refund=50000+30656=80656/-
