REVERSAL OF CREDITED ATM WITHDRAWAL

1. I hold a salary account no. 030116020604 with the State Bank of India, Naliya Branch.

7. On 6th April 2009 around 1800 – 1900 hrs since SBI ATM machine was out of order, I made three transactions from HDFC ATM at Air Force Naliya using my SBI card. First transaction was timed out. But on second transaction for Rs. 9000, message that came up on the screen was “unable to dispense cash” (ATM WDL 6220180268700080677 1052 S1ACBJ14).

8. On last transaction, Rs 9000 was successfully withdrawn (ATM WDL 6220180268700080677 1053 S1ACBJ14). But later in the evening, on seeing the mini statement from SBI ATM It was found that Rs 9000 has been debited twice, even though withdrawal was done from HDFC ATM once only.

9. I promptly made an entry in HDFC queries book kept inside the ATM on 06th April 2009, informed the guard at HDFC ATM and also customer care of both SBI and HDFC.

10. It is hereby requested to look in the matter and resolve the issue at the earliest and effect the reversal of Rs 9000 to my SBI account mentioned above.
