I had applied for the Chartered Engineer certificate from the Institution of Engineers India (IEI) 8 Gokhale Road, Calcultta 700 020 from my Kollam residence address of 11, Kesavan Nagar Mundakkal West, Kollam 691 001. The application was send with the application money of Rs 2000/- through a DD from SBI Kollam 0903 bearing number 254818173 dated 28/06/2012 favouring the DIRECTOR (MEMBERSHIP). IEI refused to acknowledge the receipt of my application or the application. Some one at the IEI pocketed the money. After months of correspondence and through the help of a professor at the TKM Engg. college at Kollam, I was able to trace the IEI membership director, Mr. Srikumar Banerjee. After corresponding with Mr. Banerjee, was using one pre-text or the other to dismiss me off. He was claiming that the DD number given by SBI was not correct. I have direct correspondence with SBI Kollam Branch 0903 with the DD number. I request you to consider my complaint to respond to me by either accepting my application and issuing me the CE certificate or Refund the money without further delay.
