I booked a ticket for my wife thru Jetairways on 01.03.2013. The travel date is 07.05.2013. She is supposed to fly from Lucknow to Guwahati via Kolkata. As per the original booking, she was to travel from Lucknow to Kolkata and then take a connecting flight of the same airline to Guwahati. On 07.03.2013 I was informed by the airline that the flight from Lucknow to Kolkata has been cancelled and the booking has been transfered to another flight on the same day. But since this change did not permit her to catch the connecting flight from Kolkata due to clash in timing, I contacted the airline and a fresh ticket was issued to resolve the issue. Please note that the original booking was from Lucknow to Guwahati via Kolkata, the total travel time was 4 hours and 30 minutes. The revised booking they gave me was for 7 hours and 30 minutes. Again on 16.04.2013 I was informed that the flight from Lucknow to Kolkata had again been cancelled! And this time too the conflict in timing has occurred. Ever since this intimation, I have been trying to get in touch with the airlines, but they are not responding. I have not received any reply to my numerous emails to their offices. On calling the customer care, I was put on hold for over an hour and finally disconnected without any proper response. The airlines doesn’t have an office at Kanpur where I can file my complain. I really don’t know where to log my complain because the airline seems to be avoiding the problem. I seriously doubt the credentials of the airlines owing to such unethical behavior. I hope writing to you may draw some attention to my problem and it might put an end to my grievance.
