Jet Airways – poor service

I made the biggest mistake by using www.goibibo.com for booking a flight.(Booking No: AMDYNX9W7 travel date Nov. 22, 2013) A flight was actually booked for going to Bangalore from Chandigarh on Nov. 22,2013. But, no direct flight was available, almost all were connecting flights via Mumbai. I chose the one which left from Chandigarh at 12:45 and landed at Mumbai at 15:15, and a flight from Mumbai to Bangalore leaving on the same day i.e. Nov. 22, 2013 at 16:20. However in reality, after I paid, I got an E-mail citing a flight being booked from Chandigarh to Bangalore via Mumbai, but, It was not the flight I actually chose while booking because the one I choose had a connecting flight from Mumbai to Banngalore on the same day i.e. Nov. 22, 2013, but the actually booked ticket showed the connecting flight from Mumbai to Bangalore was on the next day i.e. Nov. 23, 2013. I immediately reported this matter to customer care via phone, but they denied any help and persuaded me again and again to pay an extra amount of Rs. 1825 for rescheduling the flight. Being helpless, as I had to attend a family function on the evening of Nov. 22, 2013, I paid an extra amount of 1825 to avoid missing the function. Your customer care, cited the reason that it is my mistake, as I chose that flight for booking. May I please ask you here isn’t it senseless to book a flight which has a duration of as long as 16 hours, Does it make any sense of booking such a long duration flight when flights with a duration of as short as 6 hours were available. Wouldn’t have I taken into consideration the factor that a lady travelling alone could spent the whole night at airport, was it safe? I definitely can’t book such a longer duration flight. My consciousness pricks me to remind you again that it is senseless to book such a long duration flight by anybody. A women’s safety is always kept in mind, and definitely it is not worth for a women to wait at a waiting lounge of a domestic airport for 12 consecutive hours. Booking such a longer flight is senseless, I completely deny booking such a longer duration flight and blame www.Goibibo.com for this mishappening due to a possible flaw/bug in their booking system. Also the matter has been brought to the notice of The Department of Consumer Affairs, Govt of India by a letter no-DOCAF/E/2013/02576

For the reason of “Price charged in excess of that fixed or displayed”, I want a Refund of the extra charged money and compensation for causing mental harassment to me by the customer care for not being cooperative.
