I was to travel from Kuwait to Guwahati on 10th April 2014 and return on 3rd May 2014. My bookings in Jetairways were as below: 10 Apr 2014 20:35 hrs Kuwait (KWI) Mumbai (BOM) 9W 571 11 Apr 2014 06:05 hrs Mumbai (BOM) Guwahati (GAU) 9W 619 03 May 2014 11:15 hrs Guwahati (GAU) Mumbai (BOM) 9W 620 03 May 2014 17:55 hrs Mumbai (BOM) Kuwait (KWI) 9W 572 However, due to cancellation of the flights I had to suffer in my return journey. Below are the unfair practices and harassment, humiliation I had to suffer. 1. I was not informed of my reschedule of flight for my return journey, even though the return flights were cancelled before my onward journey. I came to know about it and while enquiring only it was informed to me. 2. Then I asked them for my reschedule flights for my return journey. 3. I was provided with itinerary which was not feasible for anyone. There was a transit time of 5 to 10 minutes between flights in domestic and international sectors. 4. I had to write mails to Jetairways again and again for confirming my reschedule flights and send me the tickets. 5. I had also confirmed for flights which have 8 hrs of transit time so that I reach Kuwait before midnight and go to Office in the next day. 6. However, Jetairways had again provide me a reschedule flight itinerary with 5 to 10 minutes of transit time between 2 flights. 7. I had to ultimately call the Jetairways call center for confirming my return tickets. Even then also they had not confirmed and informed me to call up later again and again. I informed that I had to travel from a long distance 400 Km to catch the flight from Guwahati. Hence I want the confirmation immediately so that I can plan accordingly. I was informed that my flight shall be confirmed and they asked me to call after 2 hrs. I called them and they informed that there are no seats available so I have to again change my flights. 8. When I asked then to accommodate me at least in the business class, they rudely informed that I have to pay for the difference fare. They even informed me that I can cancel the flight if I wish and they shall refund me. (Who shall pay for the new ticket price which had already spurt to a high level, because of the last minutes fare). 9. Ultimately I had to settle for a flight through Guwahati>Delhi>Abu Dhabi> Kuwait, which reached Kuwait on the next day @ 0230 hrs. 10. At Guwahati Airport Jetwairways did not provide me the boarding pass for the sector Abu Dhabi to Kuwait. When I insisted I was informed that they cannot provide due to technical problem and I have to collect it at Delhi Airport. They informed that they are sending message to Delhi for the same. I was kept waiting for a long time and when I asserted them that it is not fair, since as per procedure I have to get all my boarding passes at my point of origin. I was cheated, harassed and humiliated. Compensated for the unfair practices, spoiling my vacation and mental agony. I want to be compensated for all the time I had to spend for getting connected to JetAirways and for the wrong information provided to me, making me run around Delhi Air port and Abu Dhabi Airport to get my boarding pass.
