I purchased a lenovo s820 mobile phone from flipkart on 30th October in 2013 and was using it but I noticed a flaw on its screen which I believed a temporary glitch but it repeated on various occasions and so I contacted the lenovo service centre in chandigarh for its resolution they said it might be there due to software issues or it can be LCD problem and updated my software and I lost all me data (I was told about data loss) but still it was there. I again went to them after trying it for 10-15 days and they told me that it is faulty LCD and Mini PCB which need to be replaced but it is not available with us and has to be ordered which will take 10 days to come. I was without phone for 10 days and it arrived after 1 month of repeated complaints to service centre and customer care. They changed it and kept the phone with them for 2 days for testing and gave it to me but still the problem persisted I again got in touch with them and again they told me with same procedure to change the same parts all over again means further one more month without phone and no data I told them I don’t want get it repaired again and again but I would like have a replacement and left the phone with them after 10 days of again repeated complaints online I got a DOA certificate from them regarding the replacement/refund of the phone from the dealer when I contacted flipkart and ws retail (dealers) they refused to replace or refund and lenovo people again told me to do the same with dealer itself we can’t do anything in it. I am practically without mobile phone for 3 months now and keep on missing my important patients calls as I am a medical doctor. This repeated emailing complaining and physical visits is a lot of hassle so I finally asked them to refund my paid amount to lenovo and don’t want any other resolution I haven’t spent 19000 Rs. To bear this burden of brick.
