I bought a Lenovo Z50059380480 laptop on 18 july 2013 for Rs 44,600 from Aditya IT World (Jalandhar) and it got some internal malfunction on 14 august 2013 (within one month of purchasing).It refused to switch on and when tried, smoke emerged from the ports of the laptop. I registered a complaint on 14-15th August 2013, complaint number -7005498950. The engineer visited me on 22 august at 4:45pm . He being a novice had no idea how to open the laptop let alone fix it. He tried opening up the laptop but all his efforts bore no fruit. Two days later another Engineer visited me but he also couldnt open the laptop to diagnose the problem i it. He finally reached a decision of reporting the motherboard of the (one month old) laptop as faulty and assured me that he will be placing an order for a new motherboard and i will be receiving the same in a week’s time . After calling them for about two weeks , i finally got a new motherboard on 5th of september,2013 . And when the Engineer replaced my original(faulty) motherboard with the new one , the laptop didn’t work. The new laptop i received after three weeks of registering a complaint was itself faulty. HE assured me that he will order another motherboard and my laptop will be fixed in a weeks time. I got an order confirmation email on 14th of september that they have ordered the motherboard(finally). I moved from Kerela to Punjab on 11th of august. I had informed the executives regarding the same and they said the product will be couriered to my punjab address in a weeks time. I waited for some time and then i re registered the complaint. This time they said they will again order a new motherboard , which will be delivered to me around 7th of oct,2013. I received the part on 7th of october but the engineer refused to change the faulty motherboard with the new one as according to him the motherboard was burnt and he has to contact his seniors first if he should change it or not. Its been around two months since i have registered the complaint and my laptop has still not been fixed.

i want my laptop fixed, or better replaced with a new one and i should be paid some compensation for he harrasment I had to face due to the unskilled engineers and false promises of the lenovo executives. Whats the use of paying Rs.44,600 for a machine which would stop working even before one month from purchasing.
