Lenovo Smartphone A850 No Service in Warranty

I bought an A850 Lenovo Smartphone from M/s. MOBILE TEL, Siliguri (W.B) on 28/01/2014 (Cash memo/Invoice No..MT/5866/13-14) Within a few months, the battery started to loose charge rapidly. When contracting the local Service Provider M/s. Ganapati Cellular they kept the phone for required repairing job and after weeks, they gave back with a remark that the battery needs to be changed and order has been placed with the company. Till this day, I haven’t received any response and they do not even bother to answer any call. Did I commit any mistake by purchasing the phone, in the first place ??
