Maruti Suzuki AAA Motors Delhi Fleeced Me – No Customer Service

I sent my car(Maruti Swift Diesel) for service on 5th July,2013 to AAA Motors.. they called me up to give me an estimate.. in addition to regular service,i was told that the filters needed to be cleaned, and there was a problem with the steering suspension.I gave them a good ahead on the service and the filters, they told me it would cost 12k without the suspension. At 8 pm,my car was delivered. The gear lock key which was with the car keys was not there. The person who delivered informed me that he had a puncture on the way and that I should pay him for it.I refused, called them up next day for the gear lock key. After assuring me they would arrange for a duplicate key, i did not hear from them on this at all. I was looking forward to my car giving a better average than the earlier mileage of 14km/litre. Over the next few days ( 1 week) i observed that not only had the mileage dropped down to below 8kms/litre, the car was reeking of diesel.I attributed the smell to the polishing job. I decided to visit the AAA workshop personally with the problem of mileage but fell sick and had to postpone the trip. On 16th July, my car broke down outside Qutab Metro Station. I called up the AAA guys, they told me they couldnot help and that i should call the Maruti emergency services. I did that and when the Maruti guys checked the car, they informed me that the diesel link had a crack and was leaking.Further, they told me this was dangerous and i should not drive the car as it may catch fire. On 18th July i visited the AAA workshop and explained the situation to them. They told me that in the bill handed to me by the driver ( at the time of returning the car it was mentioned in the recommendation section that i should replace the fuel injector 3, along with a wiper and fog light)

My argument is as follows: 1) My life and security were put in danger. As the Maruti emergency guys explained, the car could catch fire ( AAA guys confirmed the danger later). My car could have broken down late at night. As a woman in a dangerous city like Delhi, they put my safety at risk. 2) My car was giving perfect average before it went for service, the leak and bad mileage had happened after service 3) I was not informed by the mechanic at the time of giving me the estimate and recommendations that i need to replace this part ( which costs Rs 16,000) 4) While it was mentioned in the recommendation part of the bill that i need to replace the fuel injector 3, no one bothered to explain the importance/danger behind this. As a layman, i saw it as another accessory that needs to be replaced along with fog light and wiper, and not needing immediate attention. For me the car had returned from a service that cost me 12k and hence was essentially glitch free apart from minor works.
