I bought a policy (30211218201300) with Max Bupa on the 17th of April, and next day i called them atleast 5 to 7 times just to tell that i would like to change the DOB of my husband as the one i provided was incorrect.I would like to change the DOB to 20th Oct 1983. The girl i spoke to said she will do it and that i need to pay 200rs extra for it to which i agreed. I did not received even a single phone call after that and before i took the policy i was getting phone calls every day, to which i’m very much disappointed. then after few Days i received the policy docs from them and the DOB was incorrect. I sent them emails on the following dates 29 april, 2013 5 may, 2013 22 may, 2013 4 june, 2013 6 june, 2013 April 15,2014 sending them my PAN Card details ans may husband’s passport copy. as i realized that my DOB was also incorrect with the. the entire year i did not receive any email from them, i got tired and stopped sending email or calls. one day i got a call from max bupa and walla!!! the call was for renewal. again same thing started again. i got a call from them again saying that my issues were resolved but still when i click on forgot password they are accepting my wrong DOB i call customer care and noticed that the details have not changed. hence i need a refund.
I had to call them several time, many of them when i was in the office, for renewal they disturbed my like anything but they were not ready to get the details sorted out. which definitely caused me mental stress. i was not able to enjoy the benefits of free health checkup once a year as both our DOB were incorrect. so the entire money was a wastage for me.
I want a refund from them and the policy should continue without any charges from me.
